Farm To Table
Farm to table is a movement that has been reconnecting our society back to our food. Because of the mass production of produce, we have created a disconnect with where our food comes from and what we are eating. By creating an environment where people understand the process of food, this creates a greater respect for our environment and our consumption.
Rene Redzepi is a chef based in Copenhagen who runs the restaurant Noma. He creates dishes by foraging for the food that is served at the restaurant and pays respect to his local habitat. His cuisine is created based on the natural way that it was found so that consumption is an experience of environment.
